Subscribers of XM Satellite Radio can tune in to Channel 163, "Sonic Theater" and catch Harper's tales of terror called, "Twisted Rhymes". The stories are simultaneously creepy AND compelling! Harper's masterful voice-acting and sound-designing talents, are indeed "Hollywood" caliber and the tales themselves are quite engaging to boot! Once I surrendered my imagination to the tales, I was whisked away on a marvelous journey through time periods, venues and various subject matter. Each story has a "twist" (see title) that will keep you guessing! Happily, most if not all, are actually quite umpredictable! Harper doesn't go for the easy, close. Although these are indeed rhymes, you won't even notice them. They actually flow like lyrics in a good song. It's hard enough to write a good tale but to make it rhyme as well? That's another story, and I can't wait to hear more of THESE stories! Great fun, that will swirl in the shadows of your imagination! Highly recommended! 5 of 5 stars!
